For the past 2 years, I’ve volunteered with Glasgow Council on Alcohol,
supporting clients experiencing issues related to alcohol and drug
misuse. This work has deepened my understanding of addiction
— not as a simple problem to be solved, but as a deeply personal
complex experience that deserves compassion, not judgment.
I have experience working with a range of difficulties, including:
• Anxiety disorders (social anxiety, generalised anxiety,
OCD, phobias, panic disorder, health anxiety)
• Depression • Low self-esteem
While I understand that diagnoses can be helpful for some,
they are never a requirement to seek or benefit from therapy.
